CFCA 2020 Forward Jeremyah McWilliams: We saw a more aggression version of Jeremyah during this camp, he attacked the paint and scored well throughout. Probably the most impressive attribute was how well he played thru contact, and in some situations, looked to initiate the contact to give himself the advantage in scoring. Legit height at about 6’8, plus a long wingspan will automatically draw him to your attention and it will be interesting to see the colleges that jump on board over the next year.
Rolesville HS 2020 Forward Brandon Johnson: This was our 2nd time seeing him in about a month and once again he was impressive and caught the attention of many in the building. He has the size to play inside the paint and made some moves with his back to the basket that were pretty impressive, as well as blocking and contesting shots at a good rate.
Burlington Christian Academy 2020 Forward Collin Wilson: Displayed some nice skills as well as good upside throughout, he’s about 6’6 and runs the floor well to complete plays. Scoring inside the paint and rebounding were the two main areas that we saw him impact the game, he seems comfortable in playing his role and not trying to do too many things outside of his comfort zone.
Ardrey Kelly HS 2020 Forward Davidson Hubbard: We didn’t see a ton from him offensively but that was partially due to his touches being somewhat limited, however he did find ways to impact the game in other ways. Blocking shots, rebounding, and setting good screens were all things that he did well, which for a player at his size of about 6’4-6’5 is a positive. It’s always refreshing when you get the opportunity to see a player that doesn’t allow himself to be taken out of the game mentally due to the amount of touches they may or may not get.
Lee County 2020 Guard Jarrian Hancock: We didn’t necessarily get to see him play his natural position as he was one of the taller players at camp so he ended up playing inside the paint. However this did give us the opportunity to see the versatility that he can bring to the court as he finished inside the paint at a high rate and defended bigs.
