We all know that the game of basketball requires players that can put the ball in the bucket and this is exactly what you will get from the players on this list.
Raleigh Finest 2022 Guard Justin Monden: A smaller guard in height and weight, he makes up for what he may lack in that department with his quickness and overall skillset. He got into the paint on a regular basis and doesn’t seem rattled by playing against taller opponents as he seemed to score the ball pretty effectively. His three point shooting was definitely an attribute that stood out as he knocked down quite a few treys off the catch and off the dribble.
St. Christopher 2020 Guard Lance Anthony: You always like to see a player that knows his role on the team and plays to his strengths. Lance seems to be one of those guys as he is one of the better shooters on the team and did a nice job of shooting the trey ball whenever the opportunity presented itself. Another attribute that you really have to like about him is the fact that he allows himself to be coached, which is something that coaches at the next will like.
Teen Center 2020 Guard Keyon Mckoy: His defensive play was probably some of the best assets that he brought to the team as he was able to come up with some big time stops late in the game. He’s a quicker guard that can get to his spots on the floor without much issue and also has what we would call sneaky bounce as he can catch a defender off guard with how quick he gets off the floor.
Raleigh Finest 2022 Guard Myles Pettis: Brings the toughness that you like to see from a guard, he showed that he can get to the cup when he wants by using his quickness and strength. Although he can shoot the trey ball fairly well, he was much more dangerous when he didn’t settle and attacked defenders.
Teen Center 2019 Guard Tyler Newton: Solid overall player that doesn’t seem to try and do much but stays within the flow of the team concept. He knocks down shots, attacks the basket when the opportunity presents itself and was one of the more efficient players that we got the chance to see.
