Justin Shorts – Battle – Millennium
He displayed some tremendous athleticism in the final, locking up his man with quick feet on defense and driving to the lane for buckets on the other end. His contributions were a major part of the team’s success not only in this game, but all throughout the knockout rounds.
Tayan Thompson – Dream – Desert Vista
Thompson’s shots from deep were a driving factor in keeping the game close early. He is quick for his size, which he uses to blow through and by guys when they have to guard tight for his shots.
Seve Moreno – Battle – Estrella Foothills
Despite almost always being the smallest person on the court, he played a big game. His shots from deep continuously fell, and he had a few finishes at the rim over big defenders. He was pesky on defense, using his quick feet and hands to affect dribblers and cause a few steals.
