The 15U All State First Team
Spencer Alvarez of Howard Pulley (Columbia Heights). Alvarez had a fantastic 15u season building team high scoring and rebounding numbers on a regular basis for the 23-7 Panthers.
Antonio Bluiett of the Minnesota Comets (Buffalo). Antonio first made his mark on the Buffalo varsity as a freshman last year. This 15u season he was the best player on the 31-17 Comets.
Mekhi Collins of the Minnesota Fury (Mankato West). Collins will be remembered for his late game heroics in the final games of the season but he was a regular standout for the state’s #1 team.
Donald Ferguson of Team Get Shook (Osseo). The scoring numbers that Don Ferguson put up in the Ny2LA 15u season were extremely impressive with a couple 30 point games and several 20+ outings for a 25-13 team.
Sam Fliehe of the Minnesota Fury (Lakeville South). Sam is the first of three Cougars on this list. Fliehe was a steady hand for the 47 win Fury. Yes 47 wins in 50 games with only one loss to a 15u team all season.
Malcolm Jones of D1 Minnesota (Prior Lake). The word is Malcolm Jones is ahead of the progress that his brother Robert – now at Denver – was at the same age. From what I saw I would agree.
Cohen Kellogg of Howard Pulley (Minnetonka). The very definition of a steady hand and consistent player at lead guard. The staff at Howard Pulley glowed about the way Cohen ran the Panthers in all events.
Cade McGraw of the Minnesota Fury (Shakopee). It’s a same that Cade’s season ended in injury because McGraw was fantastic throughout April, May, and June. Watch for him helping the Sabers in the backcourt after being the top man on a 47-3 team.
Joshua Ola-Joseph of D1 Minnesota (Osseo). Ola-Joseph was the most consistent player on the D1 Minnesota 15u squad this year and he’s one of the key members of a completely stacked Osseo group of 2022 players.
Sammy Presthus of D1 Minnesota (Edina). Another standout guard on a list full of quality 2022 guards, Sammy should step into a strong role at Edina after a big 15u year.
The 15U All State Second Team
Evan Dushek of the Minnesota Heat (Owatonna). One of the most powerful, skilled, and feared players in the grade, he would be next up when it comes to the top names.
Brady Helgren of the Minnesota Fury (Edina). Another Edina standout who had an excellent year with the Fury.
Joe Hurlburt of D1 Minnesota (Enderlin, ND). Huge high school numbers last winter, Joe proved to be a consistent deep paint player for D1.
Nick Katona of the Minnesota Fury (Shakopee). Yes Nick is the brother of Charles Katona, but Nick plays a different game although just as active and productive.
BJ Omot of D1 Minnesota (Mankato East). One of the highest potential players on this list BJ had a great year with Pulley and could have a massive year for the talented Cougars.
The 15U All State Third Team
Maddox Alipate of the Minnesota Fury (Lakeville South). Memorable finish in the Hard Work Region Finals.
Muja Burton of Howard Pulley (Columbia Heights). Scored 12.3 as a frosh, had a strong Pulley year.
Mario Sanders of Howard Pulley (Minneapolis North). Sanders looks ready for a strong role at North.
Caleb Siwek of Minnesota Select (Rosemount). Should step in where brother Jacob left off as a top Irish scorer.
Johnny Tennyson of D1 Minnesota Prospects (STMA). Led the Prospects to an impressive 29 win season.
Justin Wohlers of the Minnesota Lightning (Lake City). A key starter for Lake City’s state team, was the top Lightning player.
The 15U All State Fourth Team
Ryan Harvey of the Minnesota Heat (Wayzata).
Erik Hedstrom of the Minnesota Comets (Alexandria).
Kris Hoskins of the Minnesota Comets (Alexandria).
RJ Jiokow of Minnesota Select (Simley).
Gage Manahan of the Minnesota Lightning (Austin).
Avery Mast of WOTN (Lakeville South).
