Everyone plays two games and then goes into bracket play where there is a 24 second shot clock ran in the championship game. Here are five prospects that stood out at the event.
Amir Petty 6’1 PG • 2022 • Cypress Lakes HS
Amir got to it and showcased his talents on the court. He is a lead guard that gets going downhill quickly. Has good dribble combination moves to create for himself and others. Was able to finish at the rim despite contact and being contested.
Terrance Arcenaux 6’5 SF • 2022 • Beaumont United HS
Athletic and lengthy prospect that was looking to dunk every time and on everyone. Terrance is coming off of a big Summer with JL3 and continued his onslaught at the ROW. He was a big task and led his team to multiple victories.
Jordan Williams 6’1 PG • 2022 • The Kinkaid School
Jordan currently holds an offer from Mississippi State University and is the most physical lead guard in the Greater Houston area regardless of class. He was bullying his way to the basket. His change of direction without changing speeds has greatly increased. Scored the ball well at the rim and also was dropping the ball off to his teammates. Scrappy on-ball defender with quick hands and great timing.
Aerik Holcombe 6’2 G • 2022 • Fort Bend Marshall HS
Shot the ball very well at the ROW. The Mo-City Guard was able to get to the rim when he wanted to. Going coast to coast multiple times and finishing despite the contact. He was scrappy while guarding the ball as well. Caused a lot of turnovers and tipped multiple passes.
Kemauri “Kemo” Millender 6’0 PG • 2022 • Clear Brook HS
Kemo was a dawg on the court and was a problem on both sides of the ball. His style of play was unmatched at times. High motor prospect who sees the floor really well. Created for others and was Mr. Dimes for the event. Pesky in your face defender who came away with steal after steal.
