Nicolas Chang – Prime – ACP
Chang had good control of the offense all game long from the guard spot, probing the defense with the dribble and finding cutting teammates to dish it to. He moved his feet well on defense and made it hard for his man to get anywhere near the hoop.
Karter Ducette – Prime – Gilbert
Ducette showed some good on-ball defensive skills, using his size and strength to make life difficult for opposing wingers. On offense, he set some nice screens, ran the lane well on fastbreaks and hit a few nice jumpers from mid-range.
Carson Holm – Prime – Gilbert
Not with great size, but rather good positioning and footwork, he was great near the basket on both ends. He collected a lot of defensive rebounds and put his hand up on the block on the other end to score and pass from the post.
Donovan Temple – Rising
While the score might not indicate that the game was never in question, Temple’s contributions made the result close for at least a couple of minutes. His skills on the dribble and ability to get to the hoop showed, but the effort from the team overall was not enough to get it done.
