The Marshall Tigers have been one of the most consistent programs in the state and will go into next winter with expectations to contend in the Big South and Section 2AAA. Noah Puetz will be the go-to guy for the Tigers.

Puetz, a 6-foot-6 senior forward, averaged better than 13 points per game as a junior, helping the Tigers win 22 games and reach the second round of the section tournament. He spent the grassroots season playing with the MN Comets where he had a chance to play with elite players and against elite level competition.

“It was fun,” said Puetz. “It’s a great program. Lewis is a great coach and I met a lot of great guys. I’m very thankful to have had that experience. The competition pushes you to get better. In the summer, that’s my time to really push myself and play against guys who might be longer than me or faster than me. It shows me everything I need to work on and get better at.”
