Continue ReadingIt is about that time of year where rising seniors typically start announcing offers, visits and commitments. While the news is moving slow as far as commitments go, there is still plenty more to update for the class of 2020. More on that to follow. The 2021 class has shown some recent promise with some players adding to their offer list. In the class of 2022, one player in particular has continued to see his stock rise with college coaches and we also have a an update on the first reported 2023 offer in the state!
2020 Updates:
- 6’6 SG Marjon Beauchamp has announced that he will be bypassing college to train for the 2021 NBA Draft, following his senior year at Dream City Christian.
- 6’5 SG Liam Lloyd has continued to see his recruitment steadily rise, recently picking up offers from Utah Valley University, Northern Colorado, Grand Canyon and UC Davis. He already held offers from multiple other schools.
- 6’8 PF Tari Eason blew up this summer. He raked in offers from Maryland, Cincinnati, USC, Florida and a handful of others. Tari will take his first official visit to Colorado.
- 6’8 PF Kendall Munson recently visited Portland, who happens to be in his final six. San Diego, WSU, Pepperdine, Washington and New Mexico make up the rest of his finalists.
- 6’7 SG Tyler Patterson is reportedly in the process of setting up his official visits with dates to follow. Seattle University, Montana State and Cal Poly are in the mix.
- 6’6 PG Jabe Mullins saw his recruitment skyrocket and he will have his choice of schools between Stanford, Oregon State, WSU and more.
2021 Updates:
- 6’9 PF Paolo Banchero seems to have a never ending list of offers now with Georgetown as the most recent school in the hunt for the number one forward in the country.
- 6’9 PF Jackson Grant now has some Big 10 and Big 12 schools now actively recruiting him. Wisconsin and Oklahoma are the two newest schools to offer the rising the junior.
- 6’7 PF Tyson Degenhart continues to gain some mid major offers after a strong summer all around. Boise State and Idaho State are two of the newest schools to throw their name into the hat. Less than six months ago, Tyson had zero offers and he now has a handful of schools positioning for his talents. *Feature image
2022 Update:
- 6’7 PF Tyler Linhardt has gained two offers this summer and picked up one from Boise State most recently, while attending their elite camp. Recruitment has been pretty slow for this class all around, but Tyler continues to show progression and colleges are starting to take notice.
2023 Update:
- The first reported offer of the rising freshman class is in! 6’5 F Kelson Gebbers gained an offer from Eastern Washington University. I have been hearing about him for some time, but I look forward to being able to watch him live in person. He will surely be on our 2023 watchlist dropping this Fall.
