This is not an all-star team, but a team of players with different skill sets to make up a great unit.
Point Guard
Anton Brookshire 6’2″ Yanders Law (Kickapoo ’21) – The young stud point guard was one of the top players at the NY2LA circuit. He can run the show, set up teammates and get mad buckets at the drop of a hat.
Shooters
Luke Kasubke 6’5″ MoKan Elite (Chaminade ’21): The St. Louis sharpshooter averaged 12 points a game during the Nike EYBL season and played a big role in helping MoKan Elite win the Nike Peach Jam championship.
Reggie Morris 6’2″ (Grandview ’20): Young Reggie really lit it up from long distance at the Midwest Basketball Showcase at Liberty North in June. It was the that shooting that has helped Grandview win back-to-back Class 4 state championships.
Bucket-Getter
Caleb Love 6’3″ Brad Beal Elite (CBC ’20); Few guards were better at lighting up the scoreboard when Love has his game going. He is a three-level scorer with explosive leaps and finishing ability at the rim.
Versatile Athletes
Cam’Ron Fletcher 6’7″ Brad Beal Elite (Vashon ’20): The Kentucky bound wing player is a highlight reel athlete who ran the floor and throw down exciting dunks throughout the EYBL season.
Animu Mohammed 6’5″ Boo Williams (Greenwood ’21): The ultra-athlete averaged nearly 20 points and 10 rebounds at the Nike EYBL in helping Boo Williams to the Final Four of the Peach Jam.
Rim Protector
Ryan Kalkbrenner 7’0″ Mac Irvin Fire (Trinity ’20) : The big swatter was the top shot-blocker in the Nike EYBL and earned the league’s Defensive Player of the Year honors for his efforts.
Lock-Down Defender
Maricus Grant 6’2″ Marcus Denmon Elite (Battle ’20): A physically strong point guard who has a passion for playing on-ball defense. His strength, tenacity and extremely quick hands can make life miserable for opposing ball handlers.
Glue Guy
Dylan Branson 6’5″ MoKan Elite (Mehlville ’20): Versatile wing who did a little bit of everything for MoKan’s Peach Jam Championship team. He was an excellent passer who also set solid screens and kept things organized on offense. He was also a team defender who was always talking and taking charges.
Low Post Scorers
Kian Scroggins 6’7″ KC Run GMC (Raymore-Peculiar ’20): Hard-working lefty post who knows how to operate around the basket with his big body and tough moves inside. Very efficient movements inside and quite effective.
Tarris Reed, Jr. 6’8″ MoKan Elite (Chaminade ’22): A young stud who has already mastered the fundamentals of low post play. He is tough and physical with an impressive skill set already in place.
Rebounder (1)
Blessin Kimble 6’5″ SI Select (Charleston ’20): Athletic power forward from the boot-heel who will knock down anybody in his path in the pursuit for rebounds.
