Brian Goracke (2020 Churchill HS) – Goracke had a solid all-around effort but didn’t necessarily stand out in any one area on the offensive end. The 6-foot-5 wing/forward used his athleticism and body to finish around the cup and also stepped out and hit a couple of jump shots. What Goracke did do was crash the boards and was likely one of the camp’s top defensive rebounders.
Dakota Reber (2020 Wilsonville HS) – Reber didn’t get a ton of touches offensively but he made some baskets in transition and also stepped out and knocked down a couple of rainbow threes. On one sequence defensively, the 6-foot-5 forward made a recovery blocked shot on the weak side that really showcased his leaping ability.
Blake Jensen (2020 Sherwood HS) – Jensen didn’t get a chance to touch the ball a lot but whenever he did, he was aggressive in taking the ball strong to the basket where he had some tough finishes. The 6-foot-7 post showed that he wasn’t afraid to get physical and he didn’t back down from anybody.
Jasper Reinalda (2020 Corvallis HS) – We were most excited to see Reinalda’s progress as he’s battled some injury this summer in some other tournaments we have been to. The 7-foot-3 post got up and down the floor fairly well and when he had some time to set up down low, he took advantage of the entry passes given to him to turn, keep the ball high, and aggressively dunk the ball over much smaller defenders. There’s no question Reinalda has more work to do – especially with catching the ball as he fumbled away a few opportunities – but there’s no doubt he’s on the right side of the improvement curve.
