Sanders is a fundamentally sound basketball player. He’s a consistent shooter with range that extends beyond the 3 point line. Sanders is especially dangerous shooting off the dribble. He’s a high IQ player that can create for his teammates. Sanders is a solid passer that has a knack for making the right read and finding his teammates in scoring positions. He’s a strong perimeter defender who can bottle up an opponents top offensive threat.
Carson Sanders is always looking to improve and gain experience. He’s currently working to become stronger, which will enable him to compete at a high level and enhance his improvement as a player. Sanders considers his top moment in basketball to be in 2018, when he played with DV45, and they traveled to Las Vegas for the Big Foot Classic. At this event, they competed against Nike EYBL teams, Adidas Gauntlet teams, and Under Armour circuit teams. They won a title with a victory over Indiana Elite in the championship game. Sanders is looking forward to the MHSAA playoffs. He knows that his Hanover Horton squad is deep and talented, and ready to make a run at a state championship. Sanders was called up to the varsity team as a freshman for the state playoffs, but was unable to play due to a broken finger.
Sanders should become a coveted prospect in the coming seasons. He’s already started to visit schools and attend prospect camps. Sanders was active during grassroots season (he played in the Adidas Gauntlet Gold and played up with HHBC “The Flight”) which allowed college coaches and scouts to see his skills.
Carson Sanders has a lot to offer to a college coach. Obviously, being a strong student will open many doors for him. Sanders is a young leader who has been coached as to how to play effective, and winning, team basketball. He’s a strong shooter with nice size on the perimeter. Sanders will provide a college program with versatility because of his ability to play on or off the ball.
Sanders is working towards accomplishing his goals. He wants to help his Hanover Horton team win a state title. He speaks highly of the senior class and he wants to send them off with a championship celebration. Sanders sees college basketball in his future. He’d like to play at a Division 1 school that fits his academic goals. Off the court, Sanders plans on utilizing the the relationships he’s made through basketball to help him further his career in business.
Sanders is motivated by his family.
