He’s a 5’8″ point guard in the class of 2021. Tyler attends Romulus High School and played grassroots basketball for the Michigan H.O.Y.A.S. Last season he averaged 10ppg, 7apg, and 2spg.
Tyler has shown an impressive skill set over the last few months. He’s a playmaking guard that thrives with the ball in his hands. Tyler can handle the ball and has both straight line and horizontal speed. He’s a smart player that recognizes high percentage shots and passes. Tyler has a nice looking jumper with range. He’s very active on the defensive end as well, where his quick feet and nose for the ball help him create havoc for his opponent.
Tyler is always looking to improve and gain experience. He’s working to become even more of a threat in late game situations and wants to continue to diversify his scoring. Tyler is looking forward to a marquee matchup with River Rouge next season. He’s also anticipating a matchup with his former school, Belleville.
Bryan Tyler has started the recruiting process and it should continue to gain steam for him. He has a lot to offer a college basketball program. Tyler will bring a coach on the floor that sees the game and leads his team. He’s the type of player, that no matter what the level, will always make his teammates better.
Tyler is driven by his goals. Next high school season, he wants to lead Romulus to a district championship and score more in the process. Eventually, Tyler has the goal of playing college basketball. Off the court, he wants to start his own business and ” buy my parents their dream home and cars.”
Tyler is motivated by his parents and his family.
“Greatest motivation is my parents and family. They have helped me become the player and person I am today. Sacrificing a lot of time and taking me to practice and workouts early in the mornings and late at nights. I do this not only because I love basketball, but for them too.”
