Jacolb Cole 6’4 SG • 2023 • Bellaire HS
Is long and athletic two that is a play initiator. Has great ball speed and can control the pace of the game. Scores the ball at all three levels, is most dominate with getting to the cup in his young age. Solid on-ball defender with a good wingspan. He is one of the top 3 prospects for the 2023 class in Greater Houston.
Chris Johnson 6’3 SG • 2023 • Fort Bend Elkins HS
This prospect is a top 3 prospect in the Greater Houston area for the class of 2023. Has a great build and uses his physical strength to his advantage. Has good body control while being contested and bumped around. He scored the ball at all three levels on a consistent basis. Had a couple of in game dunks also. Had the best all-around game at the event. He didn’t back down from anyone and took on all challengers.
Wesley Yates 6’2 SG • 2023 • Beaumont United HS
Another top Greater Houston prospect. Tough on all levels of the floor offensively. Has a smooth game to him and controls the floor when he has the ball in his hands. Finished well through contact. I look for him to make some noise for an already talented Beaumont United squad.
Tyler Smith 6’7 SF • 2023 • Westbury Christian HS
This young prospect already has an offer from the University of Houston. He is a smooth wing player with a nice skill set. Get’s to the rim with ease from the wing. His outside jumper continues to improve. Very dominant in the paint and 15-foot range. Solid footwork and good athleticism for his young age. Very intrigued to watch his development over the next four years.
Traelyn Porchia 6’4 F • 2023 • Beaumont United HS
This was my first time seeing this prospect play, and yes I was very impressed with his skill set and his motor. Plays both sides of the ball with tons of energy. He dominated the boards. Locked down the paint with multiple blocked shots and altered shots. Out of the 5 games he played his lowest scoring output was in the Top 20 all-star game where he scored 18 points. Excited to keep track with this prospect over the years as well.
