One thing that can jump out right away? Deadeye shooting. We’ve compiled a list of some of the top perimeter scorers in the senior class, each of whom should be lighting up the nets this season:
Jesse White (Barlow/G)
White turned a lot of heads last season after he blitzed multiple opponents with sheer skill from beyond the arc. The 6-foot-1 shooter has a crafty handle and can get his quick release off at seemingly any moment, which makes him a deadly scorer and one of the most complete players in the state.
Gabe Reichle (Wilsonville/G)
The Wildcats lost their top two scorers from last season’s championship roster, so expect the 6-foot-3 Reichle to take a massive step forward this winter, revolving around his smooth stroke from deep.
Isaiah Wallace (Churchill/G)
Wallace has been an effective three point scorer since his sophomore year for the Lancers, and although his roster is filled with shooters, the 6-foot-1 guard stands out as particularly consistent from deep.
Jacob Tompkins (Summit/G)
The 6-foot-3 senior is primed for a big season in 2019, with an affective, pure shooting motion and primary scoring duties. Tompkins specializes from downtown and should be the driving force behind the Storm offense.
Dakota Sams (Pendleton/G)
Sams is always looking to get off his quick release, which can do damage from nearly anywhere behind the three-point line. If the Buckaroos are going to make any noise this winter, it will be in-part thanks to Sams’ shooting ability.
