Kyle Ross – 6’7 PF 2021 – Andrean (IN)
Ross really turned it on at the end of the high school season last year. Then his play this summer was much more refined. Now, with a team that has the talent that can really make a run for back-to-back titles, he should be the key for their success as a big man who can really play inside and out.
Riley Duncan – 6’10 C 2021 – Cowan (IN)
Duncan is a fairly unknown commodity but he’s got legit size and strength and got his first taste of high level basketball this summer playing with Hayward Hoops. If he can take that and bring it back to Cowan, he has the ability to be a huge difference maker in games. Duncan could go from unknown to highly sought after.
Langdon Hatton – 6’9 C 2021 – North Harrison (IN)
North Harrison has been a team that has down for a minute now but they also have been built around very young talent. Those guys have been through the ringer and now will have their best talent as an incoming junior in Langdon Hatton. The 6’9 post is very diverse with his offensive game and pretty soon he’s going to be too tough to stop. With all the young pieces they have, look for Hatton to be the leader moving forward.
Matthew Williams – 6’5 PF 2021 – Southwestern-Hanover (IN)
Southwestern had a spectacular season last year and will try and recreate that again. However, look for Williams to step up a bit. The strong but mobile post player has a ton of skill and showed this summer he can play a little bit of everywhere. Bringing back a good chunk of their talent, Williams could be in line for a little more of an expanded role.
Landen Jordan – 6’7 PF 2021 – Churubusco (IN)
Jordan transferring to Churubusco will be interesting. They are light on talent but Landen should be an instant bump for this small school team. With Jackson Paul and Jordan, you have an inside-out duo that could be tough to stop. Jordan showed flashes this summer of just how talented he could be as a faced-up forward. If he is good to go from Day 1, look for his production to take a bit step forward.
