The 250 Event will give players a unique chance to play in front of college coaches in the fall, as well as our staff writers. Players will show what they have maybe added to their games, or maybe grown or added some positive weight.
Players can sign up at the link below, and use code “Little” for 10$ off!
The talent level will include players with a D1 future, all the way down to D3 and NAIA opportunities.
Here we take a look at some players already signed up to participate, that will definitely bring it:
Chance Groce ( 2021 / Linden-McKinley): Groce is one of the best, if not the best 2021 City League Prospects. Groce has next level size at the wing postion where he stands about 6-5. Attack’s the rim, sometimes just out muscling defenders. The Linden product can guard multiple positions to showcase his versatility. Groce could be in store for a big junior year where he gets over the hump. Expect to see Groce slam it home a time or two at the expo event.
Jalen Sullinger (2021 / Thomas Worthington): Jalen Sullinger may be the best lead guard at the event. Under-sized but that doesn’t matter as Sullinger knows how to create space and has out of the gym range. The junior comes from a basketball family, so everyone knew he was going to be good. A tight handle, lefty jumper and ability to finish at the rim are all big parts of Sullinger’s game. He can create off the bounce and uses screens to his advantage. A solid on-court IQ that benefits his whole team when playing. Sullinger will put the ball in the hoop quite often.
Isaac Settles (2021 / Thomas Worthington): Settles is one of the best two guard scorers in the state, let alone Central Ohio. With his height he gets opportunity that favors him, and he takes advantage. A smooth jumper that falls more times then not. Settles can finish through contact on his way to the rim as well. In the pick up environment the junior should be fun to watch as he can take over games at times. Isaac is a 6-5 shooting guard that will play at the 250 Expo.
Conner Maciag (2020 / Pickerington Central): Conner Maciag is finally getting his chance come this winter at Pick Central. Maciag operates off ball or controlling the offense. Capable shooter from deep, Maciag moves well and gets open. A decently quick guard who can score off the blow by, for instance. Maciag will pick up a lot of the Tigers production this winter. At the event Conner should score the ball well, and bring pressuring defense.
AJ Adams (2021 / Findlay): Adams is a skilled wing that is a part of the talented Findlay team. As well as a nice C2K Elite team. I’m interested to see the junior at this event, as I’ve only been able to watch him once. AJ plays hard on both ends and competes. Adams works off ball well, and that is getting open looks and converting. I like the 2021 prospects game a lot in the paint, as he maneuvers around and scores easily. A D1 prospect that will be a nice challenge at the Expo for opposing players.
Tahleik Walker (2020 / Pickerington Central): Walker is another player that will step into a larger role for the Tigers this winter. A versatile game from the guard postion, Walker is athletic and can finish all around the hoop with athleticism. The Tiger student works well without the ball, as well as on, and a decent motor from what I’ve evaluated. Tahleik is a versatile defender that uses length to cause reflections and create turnovers. Walker will be a nice matchup for many players at the event.
