Isaiah Williams 6’2″ Lutheran North: The southpaw wing was a scoring machine throughout the camp as he comfortably got buckets at all three levels. He is an excellent slasher who can twist his way to the basket and knock down bank shots, but he also compliments his drives with some deep 3-point shooting. His confidence level is really high after a big summer grassroots season.
Aaron Franklin 6’4″ Raytown: A good sized wing player who has the good inside-outside combination to score. He doesn’t force things as he lets the game comes to him. He will sit on the perimeter and knock down 3-pointers from the wing. He also has the ability to take the ball aggressively to the basket to score and get himself to the free throw line. He is also a good offensive rebounder.
Cole Farrell 6’4″ Hazelwood Central: Athletic wing player who was one of the most explosive players at the camp. He was at his best when he is slashing to the basket for layups or big slam dunks at the rim. His length and athletic ability enabled him to excel on the defensive end as he was very disruptive in the drills. His upside is pretty big.
KJ Lee 6’6″ Fort Zumwalt North: The long, slender wing was one of the top 3-point shooters in the entire camp. He displayed some deep range and a quick release to go with it which made him difficult to defend. He also had a nice little dribble step back move to create space from the defender. He can also put it on the floor to make a play for himself or create a passing angle.
Cachao Gianquinto 6’3″ Battle: The big, strong wing player is very good at creating matchup problems with his size and ability to make plays anywhere on the court. He uses his big body to keep the ball away from defenders plus he has a variety of moves to get to the basket. He is also a solid rebounder at both ends.
Jeremiah Walker 6’1″ DeSmet: The slashing young guard was excellent at attacking the basket and scoring at the rim at all different kinds of angles. He has some tough takes to the basket, including a big-time spin move which he used to drop off defenders time after time. He is strong and he stays low as he has excellent balance while still playing fast.
Jaden Winfield 6’4″ Chaminade: An athletic wing player with a high basketball IQ who plays in a very unselfish manner, he was the best passer I watched during the camp. I was impressed with his ability to make pinpoint passes while on the move and with both ends. He has a solid mid-range game to go along with his ability to get to the basket.
Lance Hackney 6’6″ Lutheran-St. Charles: A beefy post player who did a nice job throwing his weight around in the lane with good moves and some solid rebounding. I was impressed with his shooting touch around the basket with both hands and his ability to use the backboard as well.
Isaiah Johnson 6’1″ Battle: A solid wing player who is a good athlete and plays his role with a lot of zeal and activity. He plays good defense, runs the lanes on the fast break and will make an open 3-pointer from the corner. I like his hustle and abilty to rebound and chase down loose balls.
