Nate Garrett 6’5″ Hazelwood Central: An impressive wing player with good size, athleticism and the ability to score at all three levels. He has good handles and uses them to create off the dribble, but he does it at his own pace and is never in a hurry. He has a nice long stride to get to his spot quickly or he can hit you with a jab step and knock down a 3-pointer.
D’Anthony Pennington 6’2″ North Kansas City: The slim shooting guard displayed his smooth high-arching jumper from long distance and the ability to play the game in a very fluid manner. His game if efficient in that he can shoot it off the catch or he can create off the bounce without needing a lot of dribbles. He picked up a Division I offer from UMKC over the weekend.
David Roberts 6’1″ Hazelwood Central: A bulldog of a combo guard who is bringing the toughness and the intensity at all times and at both ends of the court. He is attacking the basket at every opportunity and doesn’t care who is in the way. He enjoys the challenge of defense and he created a lot of turnovers by himself by simply stripping ball handlers with his quick and strong set of hands.
Quenton Shelton 6’2″ Lebanon: The smooth shooting guard was one of the top perimeter shooters during the elite camp. He spent a lot of time just flowing to the open spots on the floor and draining long distance jumpers off the catch. But he is fully capable of putting the ball on the floor and making a play happen with a layup or nifty pass to an open teammate.
Devion Harris 6’7″ Parkway Central: One of the top frontcourt players at the camp, Harris scored well in the paint, but also displayed some good moves off the dribble from the high post. He has worked hard on building his game and the results have been evident. He can pass the ball well from the high post and block shots on the defensive end.
Jordan Ryan 6’0″ John Burroughs: A solid wing player who was able to get things done by playing hard and staying active at both ends of the court. He can shoot the ball from 3-point range off the catch, but he was really looking to attack the basket off the dribble. He also had some nice drop offs for buckets coming from his dribble penetration.
