As a sophomore Parker broke out and is now on the radar of many collegiate programs. The 6’7 wing averaged 15ppg and just under 10 rebounds per game in his sophomore season. Parker has already received offers from Lake Superior State, Saginaw Valley State , Northwood University, Grand Valley State, and Central Michigan University. He can score from virtually anywhere on the floor. He has a very smooth perimeter game, and is a great finisher at the rim. Post game is a major plus and likes to lock in and protect the rim on the defensive end. Parker will be entering his junior season with a lot to prove. Parker took some time to answer some questions for prep hoops.

What do you feel your strengths are on the basketball court:
PD: I like to take advantage of the size/quickness match up. To start the game the opponent’s 5 guards me and when they realize I’m too fast for the 5 the put someone smaller on me and then I take them down to the block.
What are some areas of your game you have been working on to improve this summer?
PD: I’m working on getting my shot more consistent.

PD: I want to play at the highest level and compete with the best, work on my craft, get faster, and hit the weights.
What are college coaches at any level going to get in a player like you?
PD: College coaches are going to get a tough guy who takes pride in his defense and won’t back down
What are some team goals for the upcoming season?
PD: I want what every other high schooler wants and that’s to lead my team to the Breslin.
Favorite basketball memory to date?
PD: In a big game against the family I threw a lob to myself off the glass for the first bucket of the game.
Favorite practice drill?
PD: 11 man break is my favorite practice drill because offense or defense can get the rebound and run and it’s very competitive
