Players have been taking control of the recruitment process as well as selecting where they will play out their high school careers so let’s take a look at some details.
Grimsley HS & Greensboro Warriors 2020 Forward Ahmil Flowers cut his low down to three this week with: High Point, Radford and Western Carolina being the final schools he will be choosing from. Each school offers different benefits for Flowers but regardless of where he selects to attend, we feel he will have a nice overall impact. He plays the game with a very high motor and understands how to use his leaping ability to constantly make plays.
2020 G/F Saiquone Harris has already pretty much ended his recruitment as he has verbally committed to attend Hutch CC after he graduates. In the meanwhile he’s picked up a D1 offer from Norfolk State and decided to transfer to Word of God Christian Academy.
Apex HS Forward Nick Farrar has already made a verbal commitment to NC State but recently took a visit and seems like he is already excited about being a part of the Wolfpack family. Farrar was dominant throughout the offseason, including a monster game during the Josh Level Classic where he was named MVP.
2020 Moravian Prep & Team Loaded Guard Josh Hall announced that he will be cutting his list down soon to 10, which should be very interesting. Hall has picked up all types of ACC and SEC over the past months but the head scratcher may be why schools such Duke and UNC haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Regardless Hall is a talented player on the court but is even a better person off the court and will be a great addition to a college program.
Forward Kuluel Mading announced that he will be transferring to The Burlington School, and he will be joining the 2021 recruiting class. Mading is a player that has seen his stock rise over the last months and should only continue to gain interest as he will have an extra year to work on things.
