Devion Harris 6’7″ Parkway Central: The talented combo forward was the top prospect at the Elite Camp and he showed it at both ends of the floor. He is an excellent rim protector with his length and timing as he blocked several shots and altered many others. He displayed solid moves around the basket to score as well as his improved perimeter ability, especially on the drive. He picked up an offer from Lindenwood after the event.
Riley Naeger 6’7″ St. Pius: The versatile forward continued to open up some eyes with his fine all-around play. His overall feel for the game is very good as he can pass the ball, set solid screens move well without the ball in addition to his skill set. One on play, he displayed some athleticism on a nice chase-down block at the rim. If you are a Division II coach, this kid should definitely be on your radar.
Evan Schneider 6’6″ Ladue: The burly power forward played his normal meat-and-potatoes game around the basket. His has good mobility to go along with his physical strength, which makes him very difficult to handle in the low post. He sits down and makes himself big in the low post area and can finish with power moves, dunks and a nice shooting touch. He has also developed a very accurate perimeter shot off the catch.
Evan Worley 6’7″ Hillsboro: The lanky forward displayed his versatile skills and a little bounce during the camp. He had one big moment during the scrimmages when he drove baseline and throw down a tough two-handed dunk that got everyone excited. He was running the court and getting buckets in the low post and on perimeter jumpers.
Isaiah Esker 6’9″ Parkway South: The big post was very aggressive in the post as he did a good job of establishing his position and finishing strong around the basket. He did a good job of passing the ball whenever he faced double teams without hesitation, which led to easy buckets for teammates.
Frazier Ott 6’8″ Chaminade: The skilled big was impressive with his overall fundamentals. One observer pointed out how he would go and box out a player on every shot attempt. Every time. That’s excellent attention to detail. His post moves were solid and his shooting touch is excellent, whether it is a jump hook or a 3-pointer off the pick and pop.
Jacob Ungles 6’5″ Rock Bridge: A very solid post player who stays within himself and doesn’t make a lot of mistakes on the floor. He can step out and make perimeter jumpers to keep the floor spaced, but he will also take the drive if the lane is open. He knows where to be on the court at all times, even in the wide-open format of an Elite Camp.
