2022 Justin Monden – Cavaliers
Justin Monden had quite the opening week for the Cavaliers. Monden posted 20 points in their comeback victory against the Lakers in their final game of the day. He can score when he wants and did a solid job of setting up teammates for scores.
2023 Anthony Thorpe – Cavaliers
Anthony Thorpe is a rising freshman that showed off his ability to rebound and man the interior during Week 1. He was responsible for the final tip-in as time expired to secure an 81-80 victory over the Lakers. He runs the floor well and his jumper is coming along. He’s one prospect to keep an eye on as things progress.
2020 Wykise Allen – Lakers
Wykise Allen put on a show with the Lakers squad as they went 1-1 on the weekend. In their victory over the Warriors, he posted a game-high 28 points, showing off his ability to score on all three levels. He’s improving his conditioning and continues to show off his ability as a combo guard.
2022 Kaleb Hedgepeth – Lakers
Kaleb Hedgepeth is an emerging sophomore prospect due to do some big things as he learns to play with pace. With his size and length, he gets steals and fastbreak dunks with ease. Keep an eye on him in the rebounding department.
2021 Stefon McLeod – Heat
Stefon McLeod is quite the ballplayer with the ball in his hands. He had a number of highlight-reel dunks in Week 1 including one that brought the house down as the game expired. McLeod is an emerging junior that gets gritty on defense and plays above the rim on offense.
2021 Reese Evans – Suns
Reese Evans is a prospect that’s slowly figuring things out on the hardwood. He’s a guard that’s learning to lead by example with his ability to get to the rim and shoot the basketball. He’s got sneaky bounce as well which makes for interesting happenings above the rim.
2022 Grady Bizyak – Suns
Grady Bizyak is an emerging junior prospect that can score from anywhere on the floor. He posted 27 points in the team’s second game of Week 1, getting to the free-throw line and knocking down 3-pointers. He’s another guard to keep an eye on off the Suns.
2020 Kaleb Brooks – Nets
Kaleb Brooks is a solid wing prospect that plays his role well on the Nets. Brooks has nice size on the wing at 6-foot-5 and he didn’t hesitate to handle the basketball and take things into his own hands.
2022 Julien King – Nets
Julien King is an emerging point guard who plays well above his grade level. He was a two-headed monster alongside Kaleb Brooks for the Nets. He showed off an ability to get to the rim and is developing as an outside shooter.
