Taj Manning 6’7″ KC Run GMC (Grandview): One of top young bigs in the state, Taj has a very mature offensive skill set with good footwork and a variety of moves in the low post. He has a nice shooting touch with short jumpers off the glass or baseline turnaround jumpers. He can extend his game out to the perimeter where he can knock down a jumper or take his defender to the rim off the bounce. He displayed some strong athleticism as a shot blocker or on his transition alley-oop dunks.
Luke Northweather 6’7″ Mid-Mo Elite (Blair Oaks): The younger brother of 2020 standout Eric Northweather, young Luke is an up and coming post player with a bright future. He has good offensive skills in the post as he can score with both hands and also pass well out of double teams to cutting teammates.
Ike Ozeogu 6’5″ Team YOBO (Blue Springs): A physical young forward who was an excellent rebounding threat as he did a good job of getting boards out of his area. He was a good finisher around the basket as he scored on solid drives and off the offensive glass.
DeWaun Norton 6’5″ Team KC Black (Center): A very active young power forward who plays with a high motor at both ends of the court. He was very good at attacking the basket on the dribble against bigger defenders, plus he loved to run the court and score in transition.
Tyson Ford 6’5″ Brad Beal Elite (John Burroughs): A strong young post player who uses his size and mobility to get things done around the basket. He did a good job of setting solid screens and establishing good rebounding position. He also got out on the break on a few rim-runs to get transition buckets.
