23-Kole Barger, 6’4, G, 2022, Derby, NLHA 15 Perez
Barger is an impressive young player who shows the ability to play inside and out. He runs the floor well and can block shots, defend the basket inside and show up on the perimeter. Barger showed he can handles the ball well and can create plays for himself in the mid-range area or as an off ball player.
20-Tariq Izard, 6’0, G/F, 2021, Trinity Academy, Perry Ellis Elite 16U
A hungry defender who moves well off screens and climbs his way out of traps. He plays well off the ball and can move constantly without slowing down. Izard connected from several 3-pointers and mid-range shots Saturday and showed the ability to handle the ball and get open looks through his movement.
0 — Nate Hawk, 6’3, F, 2021, Valley Falls, Kansas Hoggs
Hawk does well off the ball and can be a problem for teams who can’t match up with his height. He has a long frame and is good at moving inside and then back around the 3-point line. He can second guess himself at times but shows a lot of promise on the block.
23-Devan McEwan, 6’2, G, 2021, Lebo, SSA Elite Black 16U
A smart rebounder who is quick inside and has good strength He can handle the ball some but plays off the ball and looks to catch and shoot. He caught fire in the first game of Saturday making 3-pointers from the wing and corner spot
51-Cade Wilson, 6’3, F, 2021, Manhattan, SSA Elite White 16U
Wilson looked sharp early in the first half of game one as he looked to get up the floor and score. He had his way with several matchups and backed down opponents and scored over top of them. Wilson is an underrated forward who played well against much taller opponents and walked away scoring off contact looks on the move.
