Wow, I was so fortunate to have a chance to cover the fantastic 40 this week in Las Vegas. The event succeeded in bringing together some of the best programs across the circuit. It was a great glimpse into the future of grassroots basketball as well as the game in general. There were so many talented players with skills, that I wanted to take a minute to highlight some of the players who displayed a signature one. A coach once told me, I’ve never heard anyone say we have to much shooting, so in this article, PH takes a look at some of the top shooters at the fantastic 40.

Kerwin Walton 6’4 SG D1 Minnesota 2020 – Walton put on an amazing shooting display in his first game, knocking down 8 3’s. He is primarily a catch and shoot threat. He shoots it with a wider base than most, so he needs a little more time to get off his shot. However if defenders close out at him hard he is effective with 1 and 2 dribble pull ups.
