There will be familiar faces in new places this upcoming season. I have been hearing noise since the end of last season about certain players transferring to a different high school to begin the 2019 season.

I have contacted a long list of players to get confirmation on if the rumors are true. It took a minute for some of the players to confirm their next destination.

But, I’m here now with a long list of transfers.

Here’s what I have so far:

Anterrio Jeffries: The senior forward was at Melrose last season. He will spend his final year of high school at Overton.

Avionne Suttle: The junior guard is coming off a Class AA Championship season at Wooddale. Joining 2021 guard/forward Alex Anderson at Tipton-Rosemark Academy was once his first option. Now, a change of heart will have Suttle at Overton.

Cam Dunegan: The junior guard will be at Tipton-Rosemark Academy this upcoming season. He spent his sophomore season at Ridgeway High School.

E.J. Smith: This isn’t necessary a transfer, but I wanted to add Smith to this list. He’s entering his freshman season at Arlington High School. Smith is coming from Ridgeway Middle School.

Out of state transfer

After two seasons at Christ The King Regional, 6-11 forward Moussa Cisse will be transferring to Lausanne Collegiate School. The junior currently has offers from Connecticut, Pittsburgh and Georgia. Cisse is currently ranked fourth at his position and ninth overall in the 2021 class on 247Sports.
