Landing that first offer is a big deal. Sometimes it can really propel you as a player just from a pressure standpoint. For Central Noble's Lucas Deck, he thinks this could be just the beginning.

On Thursday, Great Lakes Christian offered the 6'2 wing his first offer.  The NCCAA program has been looking around in Indiana this offseason for talent and locked in on the Northwest Indiana scorer.

“It feels really good," Deck said of his offer. "I feel like it’s only up from here. It’s a blessing to be able to have the opportunity to play college basketball. Hopefully this offer makes more come rolling in. I’ve been through so much the past few years and it’s just a great feeling to get offered. I truly feel like I’m back to 100% and feel like I’m at my best mentally and physically.”
