Continue ReadingMarcus Sloan of OTR Exposure put on an event with the class of 2021 and 2022 from the Greater Houston Area. This event was an Invite only as some of the Top Prospect from each class participated. Here is a look at my 2022 top prospects from the event.
Cam Crockett 6’6 SF • 2022 • Fort Bend Travis HS PHTX25
Cam came out on a mission in the very first game. Made the game look very easy as the smooth forward had his way with the opposing players. Scored the ball well at every single level. Was taking his opponent off the dribble and finishing strong at the rim.
Austin Benigni 5’10 PG • 2022 • The Woodlands Christian Academy
Austin has a strong handle on the ball with a knack to score the ball. Creates for himself and is crafty ball handler. Finished at the rim despite bigger defenders challenging him. Crafty finishes at the basket as well.
Kemauri Miller 6’0 PG • 2022 • Clear Brook HS (as seen in the picture)
Kemo was in his bag today and was pulling out everything. He was looking like little Iverson on the court with how he was crossing people and scoring at the rim. Big time motor point with big-time IQ. A straight dawg on the defensive side of the ball. He was pickpocketing everyone.
Shawn Jones Jr. 6’5 SF • 2022 • Alvin Shadow Creek HS PHTX25
He is still on a mission to prove that he is the best prospect in his class. Caught multiple alleys and was rocking the facility. Attempted an east bay out of an alley as well. Strong ball handler with a high motor and a nice skillset.
Chris Marshall 6’3 CG • 2022 • Fort Bend Marshall HS PHTX25
Talk about a prospect who plays hard and makes the game look simple. Chris was all over the floor making the big plays. Scored the ball well at every single level on the floor. Aggressive off the dribble. Pesky on the defensive end of the ball. He was causing havoc for his opponents as he was all in their grills.
Terrance Arceneaux 6’6 SF • 2022 • Beaumont United HS
Terrance has been on a tare since the spring/summer Grassroots season. He had a great ROW and played great at this event also. Got to the rim with ease and finished really well at the cup. He will be a big factor for his high school team as well. The long prospect that is a live wire when coming down the lane looking to Boom on his opponents.
Isaiah Bargainer 6’6 SF • 2022 • Fulshear HS
Has a nice solid frame to go with his height and is solid in the high post. Has nice footwork and post skill. Showed that he can be a big factor from the wing. A nice handle on the ball and can take his opponent off the dribble.
