Hoop Phi Hoop 2020 Oneijeh Warden: Another player that brought a workman mentality when he stepped on the floor, as he didn’t take too many plays off. He was constantly working for rebounds, attempting to defend multiple positions, contesting shots and make his opponent work for everything.
Team Warchiefs 2024 Forward/Center Connor Graham: The days of bigger players being comfortable with playing in the post has diminished quite a bit but Connor is one of the few that still seems fine doing so. He looked comfortable with his back to the basket and was efficient with the touches he got.
Fayetteville Rebels 2023 Forward Johnathan Simmons: One of the more physically imposing players that was in the building, he used his strength to work in the paint on both ends of the floor . Rebounding and put back buckets are what we saw from him at a high rate.
Fayetteville Rebels 2023 Forward Jayion Grant: He was taller than just about every other player on the court and has a long wingspan so he is one that catches your attention pretty quickly. At this point he’s still a project player, his size for his age allows him to make some plays on the defensive end and pull down rebounds. With continued work and focus he could develop into a prospect over the next few years.
Team Warchiefs 2023 Guard Nigel Andrews: A smooth Guard that has a nice natural feel for the game, he made some good passes and reads without turning the ball over much. On the defensive end he was constantly applying pressure and forcing turnovers.
Team Warchiefs 2023 Guard Jakei Hassel: One of the better scorers on the team, we love the fact that he didn’t settle for jumpshots but attacked the paint. His aggressiveness caused defenders to work all game long as well as getting opponents into foul trouble.
