Top 10: We recently did a piece on the top 10, but we wanted to reiterate that our rankings also reflect the PrepHoops 250 rankings for the top 6 of the class. Players in the top 10 are receiving a lot of D1 interest.
Perimeter Depth: The 2021 class boasts some serious talent on the perimeter. In the top 20, there are 12 athletes that can play multiple spots on the perimeter. 17 in the top 30. This class will produce quality perimeters at every collegiate level.
Lack of Quality Posts: There are only 8 athletes in the Top 30 that can play inside. Of those 8 athletes, 6 are actually in the top 15. This is not a knock on the bigs in this class, but the overall lack of quality bigs in the state.
Prospects to Watch Outside the Top 20: Cameron Crawford (Spain Park), DeWaun Stubbs (Autaugaville), Bo Barber (Homewood), Braden Ray (Red Bay), Brandon Green (Phillips), Bryan Bennett (Demopolis), Payton Allen (Chambers Academy), Josh Maston (Fultondale), Blake Floyd (Pelham).
