Cameron Crawford (Spain Park)- This kid looks the part of a future D1 guard. He has excellent size at 6’3-6’4, is well coached, and can play on/off the ball. At the next level, Cameron will probably play off ball more. Defends multiple positions and is athletic.
DeWaun Stubbs (Autaugaville)- If this post player is not on your board, you better add him. DeWaun had a very good AAU season with Team Carroll. The 6’8 big showed athleticism, shot blocking, and relentless effort on the glass.
Bo Barber (Homewood)- I won’t be surprised if Bo has a solid career at a LM D1 or a high level D2. This kid is an elite shooter from the point. He plays with a high IQ and is a winner. Bo will take on a larger role with Homewood this season, and the kid should really standout.
Kenton Steele (Hamilton)- What do college coaches love? Positional size and shooting. Kenton has both. The 6’5 wing has very good shooting mechanics. He can make shots on the move or the spot up. Kenton has improved as a defender and understands how to use his length on the perimeter.
Jalon Moore (Gardendale)- Jalon is a very good athlete. He has ideal size for the perimeter at 6’4. He rebounds very well and is a disruptive defender. Jalon has improved as a spot up shooter and ball handler. Being able to play both 2 and 3 will be beneficial for this kid.
