Continue ReadingThe AAU season is over and we are diving into the individual player rankings. We move over to the non point guards or combo guards from the junior class. This group isn’t as deep as the PG group but still has a lot of talent.
1. Bailon Black (Ironwood)
-Long and lean scoring lead guard. Can play on or off the ball and has a clip from deep. He is also a very good passer.
2. Dimitrios Stragalinos (Hillcrest Prep)
-Scoring guard can make others better plus score it from all 3 levels. Nice first step.
3. Trenton McLaughlin (Basha)
-Dead-eye shooter is a straight two-guard and one of the top catch shooters in the class.
4. JJ White (Ironwood)
-Quickly rising guard is a true 3 and D type with his consistent stroke and stronger frame/quick feet to defend.
5. Brett Hardt Jr (PHH Prep)
-Lefty has a nice shooting stroke from the perimeter. High IQ and sees the court.
6. Coleman Fields (Millennium)
-Another rising guard is getting bigger and better. Shoots it consistently and has nice length.
7. Jamison Kay (Gila Ridge)
-Long shooting guard can spin it from deep and create his own shot.
8. Isaiah “Zay” Freeney (South Mountain)
-Scoring combo guard has a sweet shooting stroke plus is a good passer.
9. Wyatt Bell (Paradise Honors)
-Downhill strong scorer is back after an injury and should make a big difference this HS season.
10. Samuel Yeager (Prescott)
-Strong shooting guard/wing is consistent from the perimeter and has a good handle.
11. Breaden Roberts (North Valley Christian Academy)
-Strong downhill guard is new to the scene.

1. Patrick Herrera (Skyline) Quick shooter from deep.
2. Keiren Carr (Arcadia) Shooting guard has a nice stroke.
3. Jevon Humphrey (Chaparral) Strong guard who plays with a purpose.
4. Dante White (Eduprize) Downhill guard has a stronger frame.
5. Gunner Wooden (Agua Fria) Long shooter has nice upside.
6. Carson Biggs (Desert Mountain) Strong shooter is consistent from the perimeter.
7. Miles Guliford (Liberty) Quick lefty has a nice shot and is still growing.
