The 6’3 wing is a really talented player that has yet to really find his groove but can do all of the things you need from his position. He’s got great size, good handles, scoring is good from the lane and behind the arc. But putting all of it together and taking over a game is still yet to be tackled.
However, many schools have shown interest because it is easy to see where his game can go. DePauw, Goshen, Wabash College, Franklin College, Bethel, and Wittenberg have all shown pretty good interest this Fall already.
Long has been on campus at DePauw and got to see the high-academic program. Next up, he heads to Goshen College in northern Indiana for a visit with the NAIA program. His high-academic interest is legit as he sports a great GPA and high test scores so the fit is natural.
Heading into his final season at Fishers, Justin will have more of a potential role on the wing and might be asked to pick up his scoring a bit. His numbers support his shooting ability and his best skill is his athletic driving ability. When he gets in the lane with the ball, he can make quite a few tough plays.
But, it is all about putting it together each game out. If he can do that, his stock will rise and probably pretty quickly.
