2020 like most classes, has a bunch of deep sleepers, with athletes that have talent.

Deep sleepers are certainly still next level talent, and could project higher than some higher ranked, later down the road.

Here, I take a look at a few that can go!


• 174. Blake Lloyd (6’1” / G / CHCA / Mid Ohio Magic): Blake is a throwback guard in my opinion that is just flat out tough. Doesn’t rely on pure athleticism, and scores in different ways. This Spring Lloyd proved himself as a multi-dimensional guard that competes. Lloyd makes winning plays, hustles & fills it up at times. I like how Lloyd works without the ball, getting open, keeping the offense rolling. A tough finisher inside.

• 180. Cole Metzler (6’4” / C / Canal Winchester / Nova-Alleyne): Metzler has proven he can play at the next level, for a bit now. Metzler can rebound, plays bigger than his size, and competes. I was impressed with Metzler knowing what to do with inside touches, showing an improved IQ. But, doesn’t have to get a lot of touches to affect
