Continue ReadingThe AAU season is over and we are diving into the individual player rankings. We move over to the non point guards from the senior class. Not much movement at the top since the beg of June when we looked at it then, but many changes after that. Players are rising up after given more opportunity to thrive on their varsity teams.
1. Kyree Walker (Hillcrest Prep)
-Powerful downhill guard who has been tested on every level. Ready to play college ball with his frame/passing skills/scoring and toughness. A top-25 nationally.
2. Addison Patterson (Dream City Christian)
-Long scoring guard can score on all 3 levels. He is another that is ready to go to the next level with his skill/length and athleticism. A top-25 nationally.
3. Sincere Parker (AZ Compass Prep)
-IL transfer has a strong build/frame and can shoot it from the parking lot.
4. Alem Huseinovic (PHH Prep)
-Sharp shooting Bosnian verbally committed to Nevada. One of the best shooters in the state.
5. Xavier Dusell (AZ Compass Prep)
-Another big time shooter and scorer with deep NBA range.
6. Brandyn Talbot (Dream City Christian)
-Scoring guard can score it on all 3 levels. Very skilled and crafty.
7. Jake Murphy (PHH Prep)
-Sturdy framed shooter turned heads in the NCAA Camps after he came back from a stress fracture.
8. Kiimani Holt (PHH Prep)
-Downhill stud who defends the 1-3 with his strong frame. Recently verbally committed to Portland State.
9. Brycen Long (Gilbert)
-Top-tier catch shooter can play both guard spots in a pinch. Good defender and passer.
10. Dominic Gonzalez (Ironwood)
-Sharp shooter is long and lean. Improving as a play-maker and can play some PG role.
11. Isaiah Floyd (AZ Compass Prep)
-One of the top athletes in the state with an improved jumper.

1. Anthony Irvin (Corona del Sol) Scoring guard with video game like shooting range.
2. Jackson Risi (Valley Christian) Top shooter in the state off the catch? Maybe. Improved strength too.
3. Eric Blackwell (Corona del Sol) Strong scoring guard can play on or off the ball. Football player as well.
4. Trey Donaldson (Gilbert Christian) Athletic combo guard can play both spots.
5. Jamar Brown (Hamilton) Lean shooter who has some bounce.
6. Tyson Legner (Rancho Solano Prep) Strong shooting guard who can play both spots.
7. Robby Devries (Millennium) Skilled bigger guard who can play both spots.
8. Paul Maldonado (Gilbert) Strong, tough and cerebral guard.
9. JD Feagles (Horizon) Sturdy framed shooter who will breakout this year for the Huskies.
10. Ryan Berry (Notre Dame Prep) Strong shooter off the catch can get downhill.
11. Miles Sulka (Mountain Pointe) Lean shooter who can run for days.
