The 6’0 lead guard is one of the better scoring guards you are going to find in the state for 2020. He has an ability to put up points pretty quickly and dominate games when needed. His handles and vision do help him play on the ball where he can distribute with talent around him but he is more suited for looking to score.
By now, college programs know that the small 1A program in Bloomfield can be a treasure trove for talent so Royal is a more well known name than his predecessors. To date, Wabash and Trine have offered spots on their rosters for Royal. They are joined by Asbury, Berry College, Goshen, Taylor, and Franklin College as tracking him this Fall.
Royal will take a couple visits this Fall at the least, setting one up to Wabash College and going to Franklin College on September 5th.
Turner is coveted because of that on-ball scoring ability. He can lead a team at the right level and provide a diverse scoring attack. While a pretty solid shooter, he does drive really well which inherently puts him in a good position to setup his teammates when needed. For a team looking for a boost in scoring in their backcourt, he would be a big time addition.
