15U All-Grind Region Team
The 15u Grind Region on the Prep Hoops Circuit belonged to Team Griffin and the talent from the team leads off our All Grind Region team.
The Team Griffin 15u squad entered the Grind Region finals with six wins in eight circuit games but Dallas Showtyme, All Arkansas Red, Old School Wings, and Billups Elite all had prettier records. However, Team Griffin took home the title crown with five straight victories including a win over Showtyme in the championship 57-49. This led to several of their players highlighting the All Grind Region team.
Side note, this has to be the most talented group of football players honored by a basketball site for basketball accomplishments that I’ve ever seen.
The All-Hustle Region First Team
Adante Holiman of Team Griffin. Followed up his state title season as a freshman but leading Team Griffin with an intense style of play on both ends of the court. Dangerous handle with a touch to go with it.
Arterio Morris of Dallas Showtyme. Morris is a fluid athlete with a good offensive skillset and knows when to accelerate and explode to the cup. One of the most efficient scorers in the state for his class. Recently visited Houston.
Kevin Overton of Team Griffin. Had 19 and 9 in the semis, made clutch foul shots scoring a dozen in the Grind finals, and then had a 30 spot in the final week of the season out west.
Langston Reynolds of Billups Elite. Had more game winning plays than anybody at the 15u level. His combination of foul shots and then and block put the May event away and the Langston Reynolds throw downs are still being talked about.
Cameron Williams of Dallas Showtyme. Williams is already grabbing big name football offers (Oklahoma State, Utah, Baylor, SMU, etc) and you can see why on the basketball court. Great hands and feet with size that can not be moved.
The All-Hustle Region Second Team
Always Wright of SSA Hoops. Wight scored 24 a game for SSA Hoops in Prep Hoops Circuit games pushing the team to an impressive 11-3 season on the Prep Hoops Circuit.
Reid Lovelace of Ferguson Elite Ok. Red scored 14 a game for Ferguson Elite making 40 percent of his 200 threes taken this 15u season. Also had a 3.6 to 1 assist to turnover ratio this year.
Micah Leslie of Billups Elite. The 6′-foot-4 2022 forward is a skilled player to watch out for as he continues to develop each year for Billups Elite and his high school program.
JV Seat of Team Griffin. In early April JV blew everybody away putting together a 28 point, 12 rebound game. He didn’t slow down all year putting together constant big numbers for Team Griffin.
Kyron Henderson of Dallas Showtyme. Henderson is one of the top two wide receivers in Texas high school football with a nice offer list already. His hobby? Being a top ten player on the Prep Hoops Grind Region circuit at the 15u level.
The All-Hustle Region Third Team
Corey Washington of All Arkansas Red. A 6-foot-4 wing that was the most consistently productive player for All Arkansas Red who won 13 circuit games this year.
Talyn Shettron of Team Griffin.Yet another football standout that knows how to hoop. Oklahoma State and Arkansas are among the football offers.
Colby Garland of OSW UA Rise. Averaged 20 points a game throughout July playing in UA Rise and PH Circuit events.
Trevor McBride of SSA Hoops. McBride scored 15 a game for SSA Hoops on the circuit.
Jamel Graves of Ferguson Elite OK. Jamel averaged 11.6 points and 7.4 boards a game for Ferguson Elite.
The All-Hustle Region Fourth Team
Tabry Shettron of Team Griffin.
Carl Daughtry Jr of OSW UA Rise.
Jaqualen Parker of Dallas Showtyme.
Christian Moore of OSW UA Rise.
Brayden Dutton of H&H Elite.
The All-Hustle Region Fifth Team
Kel’el Ware of All Arkansas Red.
Bradyn Hubbard of H&H Elite.
Nachs Wahwassuck of SSA Hoops.
Jaylon White of OSW UA Rise.
Aidan Kuhl of Rocky Mountain Fever.
