It seems like our readers really enjoyed that type of content due to the high viewing numbers it got in its first day live. So I decided to expand it a little bit more and give the people more content that they want! Here are the top forwards of the summer!
*Disclaimer: I only evaluate the players that I have physically seen play in person.
Osasere Ighodaro 6’10 2020 F Desert Vista/Powerhouse Rise
Not sure if anyone had as big of a summer as this guy. Osasere took his recruiting to a whole new level. He is now a super well known prospect and has coaches salivating throughout the country. Osasere has recently listed his final four schools, Marquette, Stanford, Texas, and Vanderbilt. Quite the list if you ask me!
Dre Henry 6’8 2020 F PHH Prep/Powerhouse Rise
Dre Henry finally got fully healthy and the fruits of his labor were on full display. He has been putting in some serious gym time and it shows! Henry is super fit and has a lot more to offer than once before. Henry has really stepped up his game and it doesn’t stop here. Henry’s recruitment is starting to take off!
DaRon Holmes 6’9 2021 F Millennium/Powerhouse UAA
Holmes continued to do what DaRon Holmes does! He racked in some big time offers, such as Kansas, and showed that he still has a ton of room to grow and get better. The kid has an unmatched work ethic and great attitude, the sky is the limit for Mr. DaRon Holmes.
Carson Basham 6’11 2021 F Sunnyslope/Team Arsenal
Basham is another kid who I think got way better this summer. He didn’t really impress me too much last year at Sunnyslope but now he looks like a completely different player. Basham is starting to add more tools to his game and is becoming a better athlete as well. Basham also saw a boost in his recruitment this summer.
Dylan Anderson 6’10 2022 F Perry/Arizona Supreme
Anderson has all of the physical tools to be a star, all he needs to do is mature and develop. This is exactly what he did this summer and if continues down that path, he will be a true force to be reckoned with this high school season and beyond.
