Top 3 Standouts: Central Georgia Exposure
The Central Georgia Exposure hosted by KB Sports was an exciting event. The tournament featured teams from all over Georgia. How do you standout from the rest of the competition on the court at a tournament? You play hard, outwork everybody that’s on the court and create plays for your teammates.
Brinton Wright, 2021 6’6 is a small forward that has ball-handling skills like a point guard. What sets Wright apart from other players is his ability to create shots around the rim and beyond the arc. He has an innate ability to speed by his defenders. His incredible athleticism allows him to contribute on both ends of the floor. Wright is an exciting basketball player to watch. When the ball is in his hands the defender doesn’t know if Wright is going to shoot or finish near the basket.
Jordan Stephens is a 6’4 shooting guard who recently graduated from high school. Stephens is an all around player. He can score, rebound and create offense. When he gets going he’s an unstoppable force. He scores and defends at an elite level, Stephens does it all. His vision is on another level. Stephens sees plays before anyone else and he creates plays for himself and his teammates. His production in a game is clutch. He’s one of the most versatile players that I’ve seen.
Amaree McGriff, 2020 6’8 forward is a bouncy and explosive player. McGriff has the ability to blow past his opponents. He’s fun to watch and enjoys putting on a highlight show that can get the crowd going and help change the momentum of the game. When McGriff gets on a hot streak he ignites his team. As one of the most athletic players on the hardwood, he’s the future of basketball. McGriff provides the efficiency that coaches need and the spark that fans desire. His quickness and creativity with the ball is astonishing.
