Giancarlo Valdez (Pro One Select)- At the UA Rise Championship, Valdez showed out in a big way. He made 6 3’s and finished the game with 33 points and 5 assists. Valdez showed the ability to score from all 3 levels and be an impact player on defense. This kid is turning into a very special talent.
Kam Woods (Nightrydas Elite)- At Peach Jam, the bright lights are on. Woods did not shy away. The flashy guard dropped 20 in one of his best games of the AAU season. Woods made 4 3s in the game as well. Showing improved efficiency and shot selection will go a long way.
Chance Beard (Birmingham Thunder)- The 6’5-6’6 forward continues to impress with his motor and impact on both ends. Beard stuffs the stat sheets anytime he touches the floor. In a win over the Atlanta Astros, Beard finished with 18 points, 11 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 2 steals.
Hayden Lamey (Birmingham Thunder)- Lamey is one of the most underrated guards in the state. He’s a natural fit at the 2, but has worked to improve as a playmaker. The 6’3 guard scored at all 3 levels against the Atlanta Astros, and he finished with 22 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists.
Tyrese Elliot (Alabama Fusion)- Elliot has carried a lot of momentum into the E15 Tournament. Against Drive Nation, this kid showed out and was very efficient. The 6’1 guard plays with physicality and can score at all 3 levels. Elliot finished with 30 points on 11-14 FGs.
