Brennan Lovette 6’4″ Knights Basketball Academy: A versatile performer from DeSmet who led the Knights to the 15U championship. His size and skill set enables him to excel and virtually any position of the floor. He is a good shooter from 3-point range and he can also handle the ball and facilitate the offense with his passing. He also does a nice job playing without the basketball as he got buckets off good cuts and running in transition.
Mikhail Abdul-Hamid 6’4″ Carroll GoL1ve: An emerging young wing player from CBC with good size and a nice stroke from 3-point range. He hit shots from well beyond the 3-point line. He is a solid ball handler and he displayed some athleticism with a transition dunk. He’s getting bigger physically with work in the weight room and his upside is pretty big as well.
Frankie May 6’2″ Knights Basketball Academy: An aggressive wing from Lutheran-St. Charles who played very well in the Knights’ victory over Carroll GoL1ve in the championship game. He loves to attack the basket and he was fearless when it comes to combating pressure defense. He set an early tone with a couple of tough takes for buckets to get his team to an early start.
Caleb Thompson 6’2″ Arsenal Hoops Elite: A very active wing from Westminster who plays with a ton of energy at both ends of the court. His consistent effort and high motor made for a productive weekend as he was always around the basketball. He attacked the offensive boards, he ran the court in transition and was always a moving target on the offensive end. He made plays without ever having a play run for him.
Isaiah Robinson 6’5″ Gateway: A long and rangy wing player from Farmington who can cause all kinds of problems with his length and versatility. He can handle the ball and score on long, swooping drives and he was also impressive on the offensive glass. He is very skilled and he is just getting started in his development as a player.
Nate Straughter 6’2″ Gateway: A very talented offensive player from Chaminade with a good body and the ability to get buckets in a lot of different ways. He will knock down his share of 3-pointers off the catch when left open, but he is equally capable of getting to the rim and scoring in the lane.
