Gary Clark 6’7″ Team Ramey CCM: A versatile combo forward from Cardinal Ritter who displayed his shooting touch from all three levels. He is strong in the low post with his turnaround jumper and slick moves, but he also has a jumper from the elbow that is automatic and 3-point range to boot. He had one of the highlight reel plays of the tournament with a big transition dunk in the championship game against Gateway.
Lamontay Daugherty 6’7″ Team Ramey CCM: When the combo forward from Mehlville has it going, he is tough to stop with his size and versatile skill set. He had a strong stretch in the championship game, where he scored on tough drives, 3-pointers of the catch and offensive rebounds for put-backs. He just has to keep it going on a consistent basis because he’s fun to watch when the motor is running on high.
Frazier Ott 6’8″ Chaminade: The capable post player from Chaminade has quietly emerged as a nice prospect with his very skilled game around the basket and had the college coaches in attendance taking notice. He has slick moves in the post and a nice jump hook over the left shoulder. He also displayed a 3-point stroke off the pick and pop as the summer wore on.
Mutjaba Alkhaldi 6’6″ Missouri Basketball Club: A very fundamentally sound post player from Fort Zumwalt North who knows how to operate around the basket. He has a big body and uses it to get excellent position in the lane. Combine that with good footwork and a nice touch with both hands and you have a quality low-post threat. He scored against some very good bigs during the weekend.
Caleb Justice 6’4″ Express Elite: A talented combo forward from Jefferson City Helias who really did an excellent job with his skill set and high motor. He’s a good football player as well and he brought that toughness to the basketball court as he took the ball right to bigger defenders and created the contact for buckets. He also faced his defender with a jab step and knocked down 3-pointers with comfort. He was in constant motion for two days.
Jacob Ungles 6’5″ Missouri Elite: A solid forward from Rock Bridge who helped lead his team to the Gold Division championship. He has a good shooting touch and he was automatic from the high post against a zone defense. He was good off the pick and pop and he also had some nice takes to the basket.
