Team Loaded NC 2021 Sean Simms: He’s been on our radar for quite some time now, he has shown time and time again that he has the ability to be impressive with and without the ball and this occasion was no different. He was efficient with the touches that he got offensively and was constantly getting after it on the defensive end.
Garner Road 2021 Guard Terrance Harcum: The ability to score a bunch of buckets in a small amount of time is something that we can see through the high school season. During his time with Groad, he shows that he can score but also that he can fit right and make plays for others on a loaded team. He’s one of those type of players that you love to have on your squad because you know he’s willing to do whatever is needed to get the win.
Team Loaded NC 2021 Guard Tyler Rice: The state of SC has been on a hot streak when it comes to prospects and Mr. Rice is showing that he is a player to be mentioned. He scored that ball at a high level, using his speed/acceleration to push the pace and get his team out into transition for buckets.
Team Loaded NC 2021 Elijah Jamison: One of the best scorers in the state of NC without a doubt, he shows a ton traits that you love to see in a guard that can put the ball in the bucket. Outstanding shooting, quick first step, good upper body strength are just a few of the attributes that he has. Once he’s coming at you with a full head of a steam he’s even a tougher player to try and stop.
Garner Road 2021 Guard Jaden Cooper: Last High School season during the playoffs, was somewhat of a coming out party for him. He helped lead his team to a state championship game appearance and showed he can play with the top guard in the state. We saw some of the same from him at Big Shots Raleigh, with his ability to put the ball in the bucket against numerous defenders. He’s crafty, reads defenses well, doesn’t seem to get too high or low, and defends well without fouling.
Team Disciples 2021 Wing Jalen Walker: Solid showing from a player that has D1 interest, has a nice feel for the game and does a nice job of finding ways to score the ball. At about 6’4 with a long wingspan, he has some of the physical tools that you like to see from a wing prospect and will be one to keep a close eye on.
Team Loaded NC 2021 BJ Freeman: Clayton High school will be that much more fun to watch this year with this young man on the roster and showed us why on Saturday. 6’6 with solid versatility, can score the ball in multiple ways as well as defending multiple positions.
