→ Scoring guard
→ Rebounding guard
Easton Hunter was one of my personal favorite scoring guards at the entire event. The incoming senior can score from all three levels, and I’m always a sucker for a 6-foot-3 kid who can hit multiple 3-pointers and dunk twice in one game. Aside from his impressive scoring abilities, Hunter rebounded the ball exceptionally-well even when competing with taller players thanks to his ability to elevate and meet the ball at his apex. He also has a high iQ and was impressive in leading the floor in the fast-break.
James Locke 2021 Oklahoma Power 17U combo
→ Scoring guard
→ Shooter
→ Floor general
James Locke played up with Oklahoma Power’s senior group this morning and did not disappoint, scoring 19 points and dishing out assists. Locke shot the ball well from 3-point land, excelling both on-ball and off-ball. He has a great basketball mind as well and gave an impressive dish on more than one occasion.
Nick Foster 2022 AET Elite 15U wing
→ Versatile
→ Lengthy
→ Ball-handler
Nick Foster impressed me today with his all-around talents despite taking a loss with AET Elite 15U. An incoming sophomore at heritage Hall (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma), Foster was doing everything for his team today. First, I noticed how well he rebounded the ball on both ends of the floor. He dominated his competition in that category. After that, I noticed his attack-first scoring mentality and the way he went at the opposing defense. Foster can shoot the ball from deep range but can be just deadly taking the ball to the rack. He scores well from each level of the floor and keeps defenders on their toes at all times.
