Here is our look at 5 random players in the class of 2020 on “Talent Tuesday”:
Justus Clark (PG, North Farmington)
Clark is a natural leader, perfect for the point guard position. He leads both vocally and by example. Clark is an energy player that has no off switch. He can put the ball on the floor and attack the bucket where he creates for himself or dishes to an open teammate. Clark can stop on a dime and bury a mid range pull up jumper.
Avery Ismail (PF/C, Dearborn Heights Annapolis)
Ismail plays the game with his emotions on his sleeve. He can simply be a monster in the paint. Ismail is an aggressive player that uses his nasty streak in a very productive manner. He rebounds with the ball high which helps him get put back buckets.
Didier Ngambo (Wing, Taylor Prep)
You have to see Ngambo play to truly appreciate what he brings to the table. He’s a very bouncy wing that gets off the floor quickly. Ngambo is excellent running the wing or trailing in transition. He’s an electrifying finisher that can change the momentum of a game in a second.
Markail Riley (G, Melvindale)
I’d describe Riley as relentless. He’s incredibly active on the perimeter, constantly moving to get open and collect the ball. Riley puts his head down, looks for contact, and has a nice looping drive to the bucket. He constantly looks for the kickout pass from a teammates rebound and pushes the ball in transition.
Jarvis Walker (PG, Muskegon)
Walker has spoiled fans and scouts over the years. So much so, that I think he was overlooked for a year or so. Walker is once again rising up the prospect rankings. His performance over the last year has proven that he is a legitimate Division 1 recruit and top 10 player in his class. Walker has an elite physical build and basketball IQ.
