Teams and prospects from all over the region were on hand, as were numerous scouts, writers, and contributors who were enamored with the depth and quality of talent in the gyms. I personally made my rounds throughout the weekend with stops at Benet Academy, Illinois Basketball Academy, and M-14 with my eyes on the loaded 16u division. The focus today has been on the front-court prospects that caught my eye, and this particular article will focus on those who dominated the boards. Rebounding is an art, and there are really two main ways to get it done. Some rely on timing and athleticism to soar over the competition and snag a board, while others utilize positioning and strength to clear space and haul in the rock. Below is a list of prospects who excelled at cleaning the glass over the weekend.
Soar and Swoop: These prospects are athletic, high-flyers who proved they can get off the floor, above the rim, and pull down boards on both ends.
