Prospects:
• Zach Thompson (6’8” / PF 2022 / Illinois Attack): Zach Thompson is a raw talent but, you can see the upside. Willing rebounder who does well on the block when he can get touches. Needs to improve strength and motor, but you can see why he’s a prospect that must be noted at 6-foot-8.
• Andre Cobb (5’8” / G 2022 / Illinois Attack): Good ball handler that can get to his spots. Keeps his head up well, makes the right plays. Can get to the basket, and either score or kick it out. I really like how Cobb played at times. Under sized but it doesn’t affect him much, as he still competes hard.
• Myles Olagbegi (6’0” / G 2021 / Illinois TWolves): Myles is a lead guard that plays hard, and is a player any coach would want. The 2021 guard was tough through the lane finishing with the bigs. Handled the ball pretty well and actually was a second-chance opportunity go-getter. Can absolutely go with the rock in his hands.
• Steven McCoy Steven McCoy 5'8" | PG Toledo St. Francis | 2022 OH (5’8” / PG 2022 / Hopson Elite): McCoy is a quick ball handler that puts the ball on a string. Moves the ball well and gets his team involved. I like how the young guard keeps his head up and is in go mode. A floor general that can get into the lane.
• Max Roth Max Roth 6'1" | PG Findlay | 2022 State OH (6’0” / G 2022 / Ohio Buckets): The more I watch Roth, the more I think he could be a solid gem in the 2022 class. The Buckets guard has the ability to fill up the stat sheet, and is a pure winner. Rebounds well from the guard spot is a must mention. A big-time vertical allows Roth to score inside at a high clip. Must mention, watch your head as Max is a put back threat with his above the rim play. The Findlay HS guard is athletic and handled the ball well too. A guard that any team could use.
