Ty Ty Washington 6’3 2021 G Cesar Chavez
Washington was able to get whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted. He demonstrated why he is one of the best scorers in the state. He absolutely torched his defenders all weekend long. Washington easily took home Camp MVP and All-Star Game MVP.
Ricardo Sarmiento 6’0 2021 G Cesar Chavez
Ricardo really impressed me this weekend. I thought that this was probably the best that I had ever seen him play. The kid is a gamer and a hustler. He plays super hard no matter what the score and I really respect that. Sarmiento was very sneaky on defense and stole a couple balls in each game. He also shot it very well all weekend long.
Jordan Pope 6’1 2022 G De La Salle
Pope looks really poised despite his age. He is able to bring the ball up and attack a defense. He is really good at getting past his man and collapsing the defense. He then usually kicks it out rather than look for his own shot, which I am perfectly fine with. Very good passing skills overall.
Trent Hudgens 6’0 2020 G Moon Valley
Hudgens looked good all weekend long. It was a shame that he couldn’t make the all-star game. He did what Hudgens does game to game. He broke down his defender with ease, got to the basket, either finished or kicked out, and shot the ball well. That’s what Trent Hudgens does.
