Tanner Poeschl 6’6 2020 F Skyline
Tanner played very well all weekend long. He really showed out during the all-star game. He runs the floor very well and that got him a lot of open looks and gave him opportunities to throw down some big time dunks. Poeschl seems to be improving every time I see him play.
Jalen Johnson 6’6 2019 F Bella Vista
This kid really shot the ball well, especially on day 1. He had over 20 points in each game of Day 1 if I am not mistaken. Day 2 he slowed down a little bit but not much. Johnson has a great combination of size, shooting touch, and athleticism.
Logan Phillips 6’7 2020 F Valley Christian
Phillips was easily scoring the ball all weekend long. He can honestly score pretty much whenever he wants to due to his long arms and quick first step. Phillips would turn it on in a game and quickly get 20 points in a half.
Dyson Lighthall 6’8 2020 F ALA-Queen Creek
I liked Lighthall’s game. He is really effective in the post. He is very big and strong, so one post move usually throws off his defenders. He’s got a couple power moves that he usually goes to. I liked to see that he is stretching out his game more to the mid-range, that just adds some versatility. He also had 2 monster blocks in the all-star game, showing off some leaping ability.
