The state’s #4 overall prospect in the rising senior class played well going against the best of the best nationally. He is a skilled wing that is crafty scoring off the bounce. When we saw him at Peach Jam he was most effective scoring off the dribble getting in the lane for buckets where he finished with either hand. PHI caught up with Rivera to see how he thought it went in North Augusta.
“Peach Jam was a great experience playing against top competition in the country. I didn’t show my best self, but still did things here and there.”
What did he learn about his game playing in the EYBL?
“I learned when I’m playing like myself I can play with anyone.”
Rivera updated us on where things stand with his recruitment.

Fresno State
“They offered me (Tuesday) and talked about how I will fit right in with what they are doing and trust my game will translate well.”
What is the next step in his recruitment?
“Figuring out who I want to take my officials with.”
